Student Management Application

Project Overview

The goal of this project was to update some really old software. The challenge was in taking large quantities of data and making it easily accessible to the front end users. Multipe departments would end up using this software, so the amount of use cases to consider made this a complex application. Without well documented resarch this application would have failed.

Project Details

The focus was on making sure our software would cover the multitude of scenarios that could happen, across multiple departments. Every department needed all the information- often prioritized differently. To overcome this I designed a tab and widget system with pinning and multiple views. This allowed users to have their views function exactly as they needed.

I met with each department while designing to make sure we acomadated ever use case.

I was the sole designer and UX researcher on this project. I worked with stakeholders in each department and had several meetings to ensure the project stayed on track. I also worked with the develepers closely to make sure we could build the desired features.
